Yes. The Spanish explorer Juan Fernandez found pale-skinned people wearing white cotton garments – the same description as used byColumbus, Arias and Verrazzano when describing Chinese. Maori history describesS Island being invaded in about 1690 (10 generations) and the people there being exterminated by Maoris.
