My questions for Alaskans
Here are some questions I have been introduced to lately relating to Alaska and possibily related to the travels of the Chinese. If you have any information or family traditions or stories, send them to me. Let’s see what we know collectively. Please note, none have been verified, they are only questions at this point. What we want to do is to verify them as true or not true. Let me know either way so we can post the results on the site. If you like, your name will NOT be used. It’s your choice. • Alligator carving from old site on St. Lawrence island – seen it? or other non-Alaskan things carved and recovered from old village sites? • The “blue dot” birthmark – a Chinese genetic marker – have one? • Buttons – came to S.E.
